Ordering
The shipment of shoes, bags and accessories is free for orders over 50 euro. If you place an order of less than 50 euro, the shipment costs are € 2.95. Returning products is always free of charge.
Please be aware that you can only order products if you live in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany. Do you live in another country and would you like to order one of our products? You can, of course. Please send an email to webshop@freddelabretoniere.com to request a personal offer. In this case we will need the following information: the article number of the product you wish to order, the colour and size you need, your country and your city. We will then send you your personal offer including the correct price and shipment costs within 3 working days. Please note that the price in the offer may be higher than the price stated on the website, as the prices on the website are just an indication.
If you live in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany, please follow the steps below to place your order. If you experience problems during the order process please contact us.
Ordering a product online in six steps:
1. If you wish to order a product, first select the desired size, colour and number.
2. Place the product in your shopping cart via the grey button 'add to cart'.
3. When you are done shopping, click on the shopping cart in the top right corner of the screen. You will then see an overview of your order .
4. Via the button 'proceed to checkout' you can complete the ordering process. First you will be asked to fill in your details. If you already have an account, you can enter your email address and password. If this is your first order you can either create a new account or proceed without an account. If you create an account, you won't need to fill out your address and other details during your next visits. If you proceed without creating an account, your details will only be used for this order and they won't be filed. You will be given a password and user name via email, which you can use to check the status of your order. Make sure that you click the button 'file' at the bottom of this step. You will then be automatically referred to the tab 'delivery option'.
5. Then select a delivery option.
6. Then select a payment method.

Selecting a delivery option
In the Netherlands, we offer four different delivery options:
1. Shipment to invoice address; if you select this option the order will be delivered to the address of the person who pays the invoice. In most cases, this will be you, yourself. What's unique about this option is that you can choose the time and day of the delivery. The options include evening deliveries, which could be convenient if you are not always at home during the day. You can choose to have the parcel delivered the next day (provided you have placed your order before 5 p.m. the previous day) or to have your order delivered a week later, e.g. when you are on holiday. DHL does not deliver parcels on Monday. This means that any orders placed on Friday after 5 p.m. or during the weekend will be delivered on Tuesday.
2. You can choose to have the parcel delivered at a different address; this could be convenient if you want to send someone a present that is to be delivered to their address. For this you can also specify the desired day and time.
3. Pick-up from a DHL servicepoint; you can fill in your postcode or city and select a DHL servicepoint near you. In this case you cannot specify a desired date and time. Please note: pick-up from an DHL servicepoint is not possible if you select AchterafBetalen. The AchterafBetalen payment method is only available to our customers in the Netherlands.
4. Collect from a Fred de la Bretoniere store; picking up your order from a Fred de la Bretoniere store can be convenient if you want try out the product for size. If you select this option in the payment process, you can select the store nearest your address on the basis of your postcode. You cannot select a desired day and time, because your order is placed in a different manner. This means it may take up to 5 business days before your order will arrive at the store. You will receive a phone call as soon as the product is in, so no worries! Please note: picking up your order from the store is not possible if you select the AchterBetalen payment method. The AchterBetalen payment method is only available to our customers in the Netherlands.

In Belgium, we offer three different delivery options:

You cannot select a desired day and time, because your order is placed in a different manner. This means it may take up to 5 business days before your order will arrive at the store. You will receive a phone call as soon as the product is in, so no worries!

In Germany, we offer two different delivery options:
1. Shipment to invoice address; if you select this option the order will be delivered to the address of the person who pays the invoice. In most cases, this will be you, yourself. The delivery time will take about two workdays.
2. You can choose to have the parcel delivered at a different address; this could be convenient if you want to send someone a present that is to be delivered to their address.

Selecting a payment method
You can select one of these payment methods:
1. Via your own bank; IDEAL, Mistercash (possible next week), Sofortbanking and Giropay.
Payments are made in accordance with your bank's security requirements. Please note: it is not possible to transfer the money from your bank to Fred de la Bretoniere yourself.
2. Credit card; You can pay by credit card if you have one of the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Maestro. You will not need to register and your details will be sent securely, but they will not be filed.
3. PayPal; If you pay by means of PayPal you won't need to fill in your financial details every time, and you have extra certainty because PayPal offers guaranteed purchases for dispatchable products.
4. AchterafBetalen: Please note, AchterafBetalen is only possible if you live in the Netherlands. We will charge 1.95 euro in additional costs. This payment is handled entirely by Focum, the supplier of AchterafBetalen. They will first check whether you meet the requirements of AchterafBetalen, and then approve your order, which means the shipment of your order will take slightly longer. You will receive an email with a digital giro slip within a week. You can place orders using AchterafBetalen to a maximum of 450 Euro. Do you encounter problems using AchterafBetalen?
