Since 2019, Fred de la Bretoniere and Shabbies Amsterdam have been part of RnF Group. Before that, both brands were owned for years by the designer who started the brands in 1970: Fred de la Bretonière himself. After years of designing the most beautiful creations for the Fred de la Bretoniere brand, Fred added the sister brand Shabbies Amsterdam in 2005.

Our years of experience in the shoemaking trade has ensured that you experience craftsmanship in its purest form. Each shoe and bag is designed with the utmost care and passion using only the finest materials. An eye for detail cannot be missed at Fred de la Bretoniere.

This love for craftsmanship is also evident at sister brand Shabbies Amsterdam. The younger sister of Fred de la Bretoniere has been a household name since 2005 with its pure and tough designs. The collection includes shoes and bags for every moment of the day.

Our collections are designed in the Netherlands and handmade with passion and craftsmanship using only the best quality leather and other materials. Each collection is new yet has the real Fred of Shabbies twist. Our leather shoes and bags ensure that the strong personality of a woman is underlined.
